The TCx05 series support a remote set-out method for surveyors using handheld or external recording
devices. Stake out data can be transferred from via RS232 interface to the instrument’s onboard Re-

TPS300/700 Series
The TPS300 and TPS700 series were introduced in 1998/99. Featuring the latest generation technol-
ogy, these instruments have further increased their interfacing capabilities. Considering the new firm-
ware and application platform, lots of new commands have been added or existing commands being
changed compared to its predecessors, the TPS100 Total Stations. However, basic functions use the
same commands and therefore most of the existing TPS100 interfacing applications will still support
the new TPS300/700 series.
