Thesystembeginstheprocessofresettingthemachinetoitsoriginalsettingsand
outputsseveralscreensofdata.Afterseveralminutes,youarepromptedtohitthe
Tabkeytochooseconfigurationchoices.

WhenpromptedtohittheTabkey,either:
Waitforthedefaultselection(current)toautomaticallystart,or

recover,thefollowingmessageappears:

Twocodescanappear:
0x1meansthattheinterfacelinkstatusreportedbytheNICremainsoff(forexample,

rebootingorturningofftheSASeriesSSLVPNAppliance.
Powersupplies—TheSA6000shipswithoneACpowersupplyinstalledintheback
ofthechassis.Youcanaddanoptionalsecondpowersupplytosupportredundancy
andload-sharingfeatures.Inaddition,ifyouneedtoreplaceoneofthepowersupplies,
youcan“swap”thefaultypowersupplyforareplacementwhiletheoptionalsecond
powersupplyassumesresponsibilityfortheentirepowerload,thusavoidingasituation
whereyouhavetopowerofftheSASeriesSSLVPNAppliancebeforereplacingthe
removableunit.
Coolingfans—TheSA6000shipswithtwocoolingfansinstalledinthebackofthe
