Introduction: What Happens When You’re Not on the Golf Course…
There’s not one partner in any of the professional
services firms I deal with that doesn’t believe to
their very core that the best way to get new clients
is through 1 to 1 marketing – referrals, networking,
schmoozing, and so forth and so on.
Here’s the deal – I agree.
But WAIT!!! Before you stop reading, and declare
yourself to be a marketing genius because that’s
the way YOU market, I hope that you’ll spend some
time with the tools, tactics and technologies that
you’ll see in this white paper.
Because while you’re golfing, your clients and
prospects are going online to search for solutions to
questions or issues they have. I don’t care how
much of a trusted advisor you think yourself to be,
the fact of the matter is that your clients and
prospects have computers and a mobile device, a
link to the Internet and some amount of literacy
with Google that gives them enormous power to go
on line and find exactly what they need to find.
Now, what happens when they find your competitor
coming up first or second in search results? Or,
what happens when instead of a sales message,
they find some kind of thought leadership and fill
out a form to get it?

set it and forget automated marketing technology
that’s “dripping” out timely
that are moving your clients and prospects further
