TextSizeinLayoutDesignerwindows
TheLayoutDesignerwindowcontainsalivemapthatyoucanedit,sothatyoudonotneedto
togglebetweenthelayoutandeditingintheMapwindow.TheLayoutDesignerwindowshows
themapusingtheprinterresolution,sothatyouknowbeforehandwhatyourprintoutwilllooklike
(youwillknowwhatlabelswillbeontheprintedmap).
TextSizeinMapwindows
Inmaps,textsizeisspecifiedrelativetothescreen,whichisnotanaccuraterepresentationofwhat
theprintedmapwouldlooklike(labelsinaMapwindowmaynotbeontheprintedmap).Whenyou
zoominandoutonamap,thesizeofthetextonthescreenandthespecifiedpointsizeofthetext
willchange.Ifyouzoomin,textwillappearlarger,aswillallvisibleelementsofthemap.Thepoint
sizeofthetext(asindicatedinitsattributesbox)willbeappropriatetothetextbeingdisplayedon
screen.
