User Mode:
Selecting Expertmode means you will have all of the
buttons available on the Print Tool Bar in the Operation
Window. Select Beginnerto minimize the features for
someone new to the program or if you don’t use the buttons
and want less clutter in the Operation Window. Beginner mode hides
these buttons: Add To Queue,Change Editable Textand Change Canvas
Setup, leaving the Preview and Print Canvas buttons available.
Use High Res Print Preview: If checked, you
will get a High Res preview when you press
the Preview Canvasbutton in the Operation
Window, however it will require more memory
and preview slower. You should first try previewing with this preference
unchecked. Previews will be quicker and the quality, even at a lower res
should still be good for most operators.
In the Operation Window you will still have the
option of switching between High and Low Res
by clicking and holding the Preview Canvas
button(or Preview Packages button).Doing so provides you with a pull
down menu (Good for an occasional switch).
Use High Res Image Preview: If checked, you will get a High Res
preview when you double click your image in the Image Preview Window
of the Operation Window (Available in the Single and Double Image
Preview modes; not in Drag & Drop).Again, it is recommended to first try
leaving this preference uncheckedand see if preview works for you.
Thumbnails Window: Selecting Keep One Page in Memoryis more
memory efficient. Whatever quantity of thumbnails load across your screen
equals one page. There will be a slower refresh rate but it allows you to
work with less Random Access Memory
(RAM). If you’re using Direct Connect you
could possibly end up with 300 thumbnails
in RAM which may cause you to run out of
memory. In this case you would want to
select Keep One Page In Memory.
