Editing Text on Your Page
To begin editing text or adding new text, double-click on a text box. There is no limit to the amount of text you can
add, and you can separate it onto different lines or paragraphs. If you want to change the shape of your text box, to
create a narrow column for example, just click and drag the square drag handles to alter its size.
Screen 15
To change other properties of the text box, including font, point size, style and color, you will need to use the
‘Font’
tab in the Editor (Screen 15, a).
You can make text bold, italic or underline simply by selecting (or highlighting) the text and then clicking the
'B' (bold)
, ‘I’ (italic) or ‘U’ (underline)
buttons (Screen 15, b).
You can also select a line or paragraph rather than the entire contents of the text box.
Additionally, you change the justification (Screen 15, c) to left, center, right or justified.
If you click in the 'Font' selection box a new box will appear for you to select a new font for the entire box (Screen
16, a): in this case, Arial. NOTE you can only specify one font for each text box. If you wish to change the font for
only a certain section of text within a text box, you will need to copy that text into a new text box before you change
it.
