Starting the Wizard for a Conversion
Follow these steps to start the VMware Converter wizard from the VMware Converter application.
To start the wizard
1
Launch the VMware Converter application.
2
Click Import Machine in the upper left part of the toolbar.
3
Click Next on the Welcome to the VMware Converter Import Wizard page.
The Source page introduces the Table of Contents pane. Converter combines its procedures under three
sections (“Steps”): “Step 1: Source,” “Step 2: Destination,” and Step 3: Customization.” When you proceed
to a section (“Step”), that section expands to display the names of the pages the wizard leads you through.
When you are finished with that “Step” section, the next expands.
Continue with “Step 1: Selecting Your Source” on page 27.
