Creating Documents

password.)

Signature Properties Dialog Box
A message appears indicating how many of the selected files
have been added. You can cancel the process by clicking Cancel.
When the addition is complete, the message automatically closes
and AppXtender displays the new document in the Document
Display view.
• If the file is a foreign file type supported by the AppXtender
Web Verity KeyView and you have the AppXtender Web
Verity KeyView feature enabled in the View tab of the
AppXtender Configuration dialog box, the contents of the
foreign file appear in the Document Display view. You can
launch the file in its native application using the Launch
command on the Document Display shortcut menu.
• If the file is a foreign file type that is not supported by the
AppXtender Web Verity KeyView or if you do not have the
AppXtender Web Verity KeyView enabled, an icon represents
the new document. AppXtender stores unsupported foreign
file types in their native file format. You can open the file (and
the software program in which it was created) by
double-clicking on the icon.
6. Enter the index information for the new document and click Save.
