Form Processing & Recognition

This page provides detailed information for detecting, processing and save form recognition results in RasterEdge Web Document Viewer. Before you processing forms in Web Document Viewer, make sure that you have install RasterEdge Forms Add-on to your Web Document Viewer. (Want to use JBIG 2 Codec in Winforms, C#.NET applications or VB.NET applications, please go to Form Processing in Winforms, Template Recognition for C#.NET and Form Processing & Recognition in VB.NET.)

Recognize a Form

Go to the toolbar:

Activate "Form Recognition" if you want to create, compare, and align forms;
Select "Source Image" to loads images or documents from scanner or a file;
Select "Create" to create forms for recognition;
Select "Align" to align images to forms and calculate the alignment;
Select "Save" to save the image field results;
Select "Print" to print the image field results.

Process a Form

Go to the toolbar:

Activate "Form Engine" to perform field processing;
Select "Image Form Field" to create a single rectangular region;
Select "Add" to add the page to the engine;
Select "Result" to show the results of processing the image field.
